This contemporary library is entirely devoted to the scholastic needs of the college students and faculty members. The library has also got a separate newspaper zone as well. Moreover, this sprawling library carries everything that supports the teaching, learning, research and scholarship activities of the Institute.

The library at IIST is fully equipped with modern document archival and duplication machines and its being successfully managed by a Chief Librarian along with seven Library Assistants from years.

Best of all, the library has also got a a separate ‘e-library’ facility as well. With internet connectivity, e-library stands out as an extension to the main library. E- Library provides every information right from computerized bibliographic reference information to classified abstracts of publications. Most of all, e-library also gives an access to journals and even full texts of papers.
