With the prominent growth in reputation of IIST, the demand for seeking admission at Shail Group of Institutions increased tremendously. On the other hand; civil engineering was also gaining popularity due to growth in infrastructure sector. Due to restriction imposed by AICTE norms, addition of new branch and seats were not possible in IIST. Hence; Indore Institute of Science & Technology (II) was established from the academic year 2009-10.
It offers under graduate courses in Engineering in the branches of Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Communications, Computer Science, Civil Engineering and Electrical & Electronics with a total intake of 420 students. All the seats have been fully subscribed from the day One due to quality education being imparted by the institute. The college also offers post graduate course in Computer Science Engineering. Dr.Shilpa Tripathy is the Principal of the institute.
